Climate policy

Improving energy efficiency makes a significant contribution to climate policy and thus contributes to a positive effect on air quality. At the same time, increasing energy efficiency has a cost-saving effect. This makes energy efficiency the most effective and cost-effective method for climate policy. Therefore, the government is explicitly committed to initiatives that lead to energy efficiency improvements (Green Deals for energy savings).

Cost savings

Energy-saving measures ultimately pay for themselves, but the high investment costs often hinder their implementation. DAIV Lighting BV removes this barrier for you through a unique solution where the investment costs can be financed by the energy savings achieved. This allows you to invest cost-effectively, save a significant amount of energy, and achieve significant cost savings in the long run.

Energy saving in buildings

Homes, offices, schools, and other buildings consume a lot of energy. Saving energy in these buildings can therefore be beneficial. Not only for the environment through reduced greenhouse gas emissions, but also financially through lower energy bills.

All buildings together account for 30% of total energy consumption in the Netherlands. The government aims to reduce energy consumption by encouraging people to change their behavior (energy consumption awareness) and, secondly, by making buildings more energy-efficient.

The government does the latter by setting requirements in legislation and regulations and by paying attention to the economical and efficient use of energy in its supervisory role..
